During our next class time, we will discuss the transition from ‘Acoustic Recording’ to ‘Electric Recording’. Related readings in the 1380 Workbook include “Birth of Recording” and “The Phonograph v the Gramophone”, and we will listen to some examples.
Remember to sign-up for your first Observation right away! You should select a ‘Tracking Session’ in one of the Belmont studios that occurs by Wed. Feb. 1 to allow time to write your report.
We will also do a bit of reviewing for Test 1. Be sure to bring your completed worksheets (and your questions) with you to class for this
