Read Alten Chapter 1 on “Sound & Hearing”, and be sure to pick up a copy of the AET1380 Survey of Recording Technology Workbook. The workbook contains material that will be used throughout the semester.

Check out the links (left column, below) that relate to this material too… under ‘Technology’, explore Hyperphysics (Sound)’ and ‘Sound and Acoustics Online’.

And… check your Belmont email account! I have sent a ‘link’ to the Music & Technology Survey to be completed right away.
